9:13pm: i cant believe eliot is 12 days old! nearly two weeks already! how time flies!! it feels like he's been here for ages and also no time at al! seems like years ago that i was calling the hospital and having them say "just wait a little longer" untill i shouted down the phone at the poor woman on the other end, well, not at her, i was just needing to yell at the time i happened to be on the phone! dave took it off me though and spoke to her very nicely.  when i got to the hospital there was a group of mum and dads to be getting shown riund the labour ward and i think my screaming and shouting may have bothered them! too late now though! when elliot was born a midwife lady person came in and asked if i minded her telling them what id had as they were asking.  although i say my shouting might have put them off but perhaps the speed he came out at might have made them feel slightly better! any way im just waffling and its probably not very interesting or coherent so i'll go! i'll waffle on again soon no doubt!

just thought id let everybody know that little baby Elliot Byron Jeffery arrived on friday at 17:38 weighing in at a chunky 8lb 11oz 

he's doing well and being cute all the time! he's just perfect so i thought id post some pictures of him too!

7:00pm: i think my morning sickness is finally gone! hooray! although i did have a strange five mins earier and had to lie down! thjings are going good though lots of time to read books which is nice, harry potter book 6 is definately my favourite of the series so far, then book 4, dont like book 5 cos harry bugs me with his whining! its just moan moan moan all the time! do poeple know when the next book is out?

7:53pm: to anyone who doesnt yet know.... im gunnna be a mum!! its very exciting !!

although whoever named morning sickness was wrong, all day sickness would have been a better name! roll on the second trimester when hopefully it will go away!!!! lots to think about now! where to start?!?!?! so many books to read and things to do!!

3:12pm: me again... things are looking up everything is getting sorted out slowly all though we still have no bath tap! i went to york yesterday and i went into lush and now im dying to use the bath bombs that i bought! might just have to have a bath the old fashioned way and use hot water from the kettle or something like that! our bathroom light switch is on the outside of our bathroom and i can see it now that dave will be feeling mischevious one day and turn the light off on me while im in the bath! seriously its just asking for trouble! hehe
daves mum and me just watched the afternoon play on bbc and there was a woman in it who was supposed to be the ueen and she cracked me up! i generally find the queen funny though, she's really witty and i remember at christmas we watched a programme where rolf harris was painting her portrait and i was laughing the whole way through! she's ace is the queen! any way enough patriotism for one day.

im hungry and i dont know what we are having for dinner... we are going round to daves friends house so its whatever turns up i suppose! quite exciting really!

4:39pm: applied for lots of jobs yesterday.... one lady called me this morning to say the one i applied for was having interviews today but that she would keep me on her records and let me know if anything showed u, she asked me a load of questions about what i put on my cv so she did seem interested which is always a promising start! not heard back from any of the others but it was only yesterday!

when i tried to do a load of washing the other day our washing machine leaked into the cupboard and and then decided it wasnt going to drain the water out! not very helpful of the machine! called our letting agent, nobody can come to fix it till a week today next monday! so i will have lots and lots of dirty clothes! luckily daves mum has said we can take it round to hers and use her machine which is very handy or id have to do it all by hand!

teh bathroom didnt have a hot tap on the bath when we moved in either and now someone is coming out to fit that back on any time this week, didnt realise how much i had baths until i cant have one and i have a bath sat right there! thank heavens for the en suite lol

also cos its a brand new property we've had a job getting our bills set up cos we tried to do it all online but nowhere will recognise our postcode so aparently we dont excist! but the royal mail have managed to find us as we do have post in our mail box! cant get to it though cos the mailbox keys are in leeds lol they came to drop them off when we were out and took them back to their head office, but they are being posted to our letting agent so we should have them either tomorrow or wednesday, so if its any of you who have sent the letter thats in the box i havnt thanked you cos i dont know who it is from lol

quite an eventful few days all in all really!

oh i just realised i went off on a tangent, for a change, we have got all our bills sorted now just incase anyone thought we were being sneaky!

i'll tell yoou more about th elife of me soon!

5:35pm: hello everybody,

blimey lots has been going on since i last updated! ive moved house 300 miles away or there abouts! it was really strange to leave home, still cant quite believe ive done it lol we managed to fit everything into daves car aswell which was a bonus cos we didnt think it would! the journey up was going good set off in good time and everything then just after bristol we had a tyre burst while we were going down the motor way, luckily we were only going about 60 at the time so it wasnt too dramatic. wejust pulled over called the rac and they came yto fix it for us, we had to wait about an hour though and i got bit sun burnt while we were waiting but it was ok. picked up the keys on wednesday night and moved all my stuff into the flat then stayed at daves house cos we didnt have a bed yet!
thursday we moved in in the morning made the bed and the telly stand and everthing some coffee tables and bookcases and stuff like that. was fun!
all the stuff is moved in now, just doing the finishing touches like putting up pictures getting everythingin its place and its starting to look good!
we went to see goole footballclubplay today and it was fun, it was a
0-0 draw but it was still fun. im kinda sleepy now though and daves just got us a chinese soim gunna sign off!

9:44pm: so much to do so little time....

its official i have to many clothes! i think i may have to keep some in the spare bedroom of our apartment! which by the way is lovely! i'll post some pictres when i get chance x x x imvery excited about going but im gunna miss people too, im having fun packing, clothes and books, dvds, games,cd's loads of stuff! to much stuff hehe! i'll have my great big scruffy bear with me too to hug on the way up if i get upset on the way cos i'll miss people, and dave will be there too to hold my hand a kiss me better x x x he's very good at hugs and making me feel better if im upset x x x its all very exciting!!!!

7:13pm: i was juat reading through my old journal entries and i found this post....there was 1 comment and it was about the work rota! as if that is the main point of this post!!!!!

ok so yeah...probly should ahve posted this yesterday but yesterday was officially a bad day!!!! woke up late....got bossed around at work all day...had to pay for expensive lunch because everyone said it was cheap...i aparently dont excist as my name isnt gemma or mercedes...i now only get 4 days a week at work instead of 5 for no reason what so ever so the shit will hit the fan about tha one when the rota lady comes back to work...finished work late....bus broke down...accidenty flased my knickers to a police man in an incident involving a skirt and a sudden gust of wind whilst sanding on a hill...and finally as if that wasnt enough at dancing i fell through the freaking floor!!!!!!!!!!!! there i was minding my own buisness, charlote stands on it it creaks im behind her and when i step forward the floor board snapped in two and i fell through it smacking my legs against the floor board infront and falling flat on my ass!!! very painfull, now have bruised and swollen ankles!!! so be warned people when you say you wish the floor would swallow you up, it hurts!!!!! especially if it spits you back out again!!!! so yeah that was yesterday! but i did make some really nice choc orange muffins!?!?!?!?!? but it hardly make sup for it all me thinks!!!!!!
